Shandaken Inn

Our experience was so great that I felt compelled to take the time and write a review. This is an amazing Inn on an amazing property that is operated by incredible and hard working people. The grounds are beautiful and were great for strolling around in the fall foliage by the river with our 2 year old. The multiple fire pits were great for cocktails, smores, and a warm home base for our cool evening adventures. The pool area looks beautiful too and we would love to return in swimming season as well. The common area of the Inn is beautiful and comfortable. Kid friendly but also romantic and relaxing with multiple comfortable sitting areas and a fire place. The bar is fantastic as are the staff and they've really got a well curated bar program with unique spirits, wine, and local beer/cider

We stayed at the Shandaken Inn this past weekend and we loved it. The rooms are chic and cozy. The staff was wonderful and breakfast was delicious. Just a few miles away from Belleayre Mountain makes it the perfect ski getaway. We will definitely be coming back

Stayed here when we sat down for breakfast and because I asked for one extra egg with my meal they charged an additional two dollars and ninety seven cents.And their chef refused to make an omelet with American cheese. Which is a very common request anywhere, they should make their guest happy instead of losing them . For an expensive place that’s the last thing they should do . I thought that was very rude. They can keep their egg and $2.97 cents xtra . Their guests will stay elsewhere .
