Reviews
My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend in Massachusetts visiting Concord, Deerfield, and Lenox, and our stay at 33 Main was one of the highlights of the trip. Our arrival was delayed the first night due to heavy traffic, but the staff went above and beyond — they even called to check on us to make sure we were safe and still on our way. That small gesture really set the tone for the entire stay: thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring service. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast on the porch overlooking the autumn leaves — a truly beautiful and relaxing setting to start the day. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere couldn’t have been more charming. I’ve stayed in a lot of really nice places over the years, and 33 Main absolutely ranks among the best. The property, the people, and the experience as a whole will not disappoint. Highly recommend!

We will never get used to being greeted by an envelope and a code - it is so much less gracious than a human and a front desk. Feels like a very expensive Air BnB. That said, the room was spacious and very tastefully decorated - great spaces for reading, dresser / closet, excellent reading lights, beautiful bathroom (didn’t love the sheets or towels, though, and bed was hard). Very nice breakfast included, as well as cookies and The NY Times - very good touches. But our room was next to the exit door (noisy), and we couldn’t get back in using the key pad at 8:00 pm in 2 degree weather (it had locked - we had to make an emergency call).

33 Main is a true delight in the heart of Lenox. From the moment you step inside, you’re wrapped in warmth, style, and thoughtful hospitality. The inn is beautifully appointed—elegant yet cozy—with every detail carefully curated, from plush linens to perfectly arranged sitting areas that invite you to linger. One of the unexpected highlights? The cookies. Baked fresh daily, they’re the kind of comfort that makes you feel instantly at home—warm, delicious, and always waiting for you in the kitchen like a little gift after a day exploring the Berkshires. The staff is gracious and genuinely kind, offering just the right balance of attentiveness and privacy. Whether you’re sipping wine on the front porch or wandering to nearby shops and restaurants, 33 Main feels like a home away from home—only more beautiful and far more relaxing. A perfect escape in one of New England’s most charming towns. We can’t wait to return.
