Whitecliff Vineyard & Winery

We had a wonderful afternoon at Whitecliff Vineyard! Both the Reserve Chardonnay and the Vidal Blanc were excellent. The homemade quinoa salad and the cashew-based cheese were also delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

We have been 3-4 different NYS wineries each of the past five years. During that time, we've discovered many nice to excellent wines. Even so, none of these visits have proven as across-the-board superb as our recent visit to Whitecliff. We tasted eight different wines, both red and white, and decided to buy one or two bottles of seven of them; our previous "record" was three different types from a winery on Cayuga Lake. They were, each and every one of them, that good! To make it an even better visit, we snacked on popcorn, a wonderful cheese and crackers that we bought at Whitecliff, while having a delightful, informative discussion with co-owner Yancey Stanforth-Migliore.

Friendly staff, mainly dryer wines. Nice outdoor area. Great views.
