The land itself feels alive—95 acres of forest, sky, and air that somehow rearrange your nervous system before you’ve even unpacked. I’ve attended a meditation retreat here. The surrounding areas and network of hiking trails surrounding the retreat center are absolutely stunning. The hiking trails are soft and mossy — if you’re feeling like going barefoot in the woods. There’s plenty of sunlight streaming through the windows of the hall upstairs. The kitchen is quiet nice — with indoor and outdoor spaces for eating. The downside are the accommodations. It’s dormitory-style, with very limited privacy — especially in the main house. The showers absolutely suck — if I’m being honest. If you’re an individual with thick, textured hair — well, good luck. It’s fine for a shorter outing — but becomes a definite issue if you’re staying for longer. Other than that, the facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Flew over from England to spend a long weekend here with the incredible Lifebridge & Hero’s Journey Team. The staff go above and beyond to make your experience as valuable to you as possible. What a beautiful place to begin a journey that you will have wished you had started earlier. I can’t wait to come back.
