Everything was great. The place was clean, well organized, and very peaceful. It’s a perfect spot if you want a quiet and relaxing getaway. The staff were very attentive and always smiling. You can tell they are experienced and truly care about their guests. They seem to understand what you need even before you ask. The heated pool was amazing, and after swimming you can enjoy a cocktail in the large heated tent with a stove inside. The decoration is beautiful honestly it feels like the kind of place I always imagined for a relaxing escape. One of the best parts was the sauna. While relaxing inside, you can even see deer walking around the mountains, which makes the whole experience feel even more special and peaceful. One small tip: it’s a good idea to take a few extra towels before going to the sauna. I’m already looking forward to coming back again. 💯 💛

Overall we had a good experience but the rooms are starting to get run down. When we arrived we thought we had a cabin but we were in the hotel building. There isn’t much privacy in the lower hotel rooms. There are no blinds on the 3 of 4 windows, even the window in the shower and you are ground level. There is also no lock on the inside of the door which is odd for a hotel room. There was evidence there was a lock at some point but not anymore. There isn’t enough parking for the hotel so we had to park outside the facility. There also appears to be a dog kennel or something behind the hotel because there are constantly dogs barking. On the positive side there is hiking right near by and the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. The pool and saunas are nice. I think the heaters automatically turn off for safety (addressed because of the other comments). I’d recommend going to Woodstock for excursions because the other small towns don’t have much. Overall I’d recommend it but don’t expect a 5 star hotel, expect glamping.

Lovely stay and restaurant at the Eastwind Oliverea property! Came here for a long weekend in winter, and it was the perfect getaway. Stayed in the Lushna Suite, and we were very happy with the accommodations. Cabin was clean and cozy, with thoughtful features, like a bathroom heater, cubbies in the stairs for storage, a hot water kettle and fridge. Bed was very comfortable, though keep in mind you’ll need to step up some slightly steeper stairs to get to it. We didn’t have a problem, and a handrail is provided. Just something to be aware of, especially if mobility is a challenge. Appreciated the en-suite bathroom in the chilly weather!!
