Hudson Valley Open Market

We were here on an October weekend and were surprised by how small it was. There are a few stalls selling produce, a few stalls selling food to eat there and a few places selling things like honey etc., and live music. The highlight was the spinach & sweet potato noodles dish from Hao Bao Now (wow!). There's also a vegan food stall that my vegan friend really liked (especially the hot dog that wasn't soy protein but made from vegetables etc ). There's sidewalk chalk around, plenty of seating, and feels very kid-friendly.

Hudson Valley Open Market is exactly what our community needed! Not just to shop and eat local (though that's major!), it fosters community and is always so much fun! As both a vendor and patron, I feel extremely fortunate to be a part of this endeavor. Dave and Laura put their whole hearts (and a ton of work) into every market day and make sure everyone has a fantastic experience without fail. There's always great food, fresh farm goodies, really cool handmade art and craft vendors, activities for kiddos, opportunities for people and dogs to hang out with friends and make new ones, frequent live music, and heaps of fun. It's all around wonderful, you should definitely check it out!

A Hidden Gem That Deserves All the Love! If you haven’t visited the Hudson Valley Open Market yet, drop everything and GO! This place is a treasure trove of creativity, community, and amazing local flavor. Whether you’re a local foodie, a craft-lover, or just visiting for the weekend, it’s a great stop on your Saturday morning. This hyper local market is a total win. Can't wait to go back next weekend!
