What a gem. Starlite Motel captures retro ’60s charm with modern comfort in a way that feels inviting. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell the place is a genuine labor of love, there’s real care in the details. The whole property has a warm, unpretentious feeling. Peaceful, tucked away, and close to beautiful Catskills hikes. A wonderful stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at Starlite! It was the perfect summer getaway from NYC for our family. We arrived on Friday and were immediately charmed by the adorable, immaculate room, the Adirondack chairs on the back patio and the vibe outside with Catskills Cocktail Club + various food vendors. There’s no shortage of gorgeous hikes and delicious restaurants, all a short (few minutes) drive away. And when you get back to the motel and want to relax, the pool is just steps away. Alix was a super responsive and gracious host. There’s even delicious pastries in the morning on the weekends! We’re already talking about coming back to Starlite this fall. warning for light sleepers - the walls and ceilings are extremely thin where you can hear everything: upstairs movements, snoring from next door, conversations in other rooms, door hinges opening and closing. we were in the downstair rooms, so potentially the upstairs rooms could be better. overall, the stay has its own charm. the on-site staff for Friday cocktails were super friendly, but other than that, it was hard to find someone in person to talk to for help. everything is handled via text message which is great, but also means potential message delays.
