I had my first massage experience today, and it was absolutely incredible. Edward was so kind, respectful, and professional. He took the time to explain what I could expect and made me feel completely comfortable and respected throughout my appointment. He is an extremely knowledgeable massage therapist who modified the massage to target specific pain points. He even gave me some exercises to help with shoulder discomfort at home!!! Truly such a passionate and thoughtful massage therapist and it was a gift to spend time with him today. I highly recommend Edward to anyone who is visiting Mirbeau for their next massage!

Money grubbing. Despite staying at the hotel, I was called each evening by the spa team telling me I had outstanding charges. I had to remind them it was charged to the room. There are signs in the room threatening charges should you take their $1 mist bottle. It took me over an hour to get a simple robe and slippers to use their Spa because the staff gave poor guidance, such as giving me unclean, used lockers which had no rob or slippers in them. Spa Services are extremely misleading, trust me when I say everything is an overpriced basic massages. For a spa, it's surprising they do not have a comfortable place to stretch unless you take a class or want to lie on the gym floor (which, of course, they will not provide a mat or towels for). You cannot get new robes or slipper throughout your stay, you have to wait till the next day. I ended up parking my own car because of valet was on his phone. I wanted to leave as soon as I checked in, around 1 PM. Despite having an empty dining room, I had to sit at the bar or 'eat in town' for no reason that they could give. The dining room did not fill up in the 2 hours I sat at the bar but they did have wait staff. A lot of cell phone usage and talking in the quiet spaces or around the outdoor spa. It's just not a relaxing atmosphere. Poor, overpriced, would not recommend.

10/10 property, facilities, experience, and team. Ainsley was highly personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. Bethany blew us away. She was a killer combination of being incredibly hospitable yet extremely efficient, detail-oriented, and thoughtful. Mary was a superhero: very professional, helpful when guests lost items, and effective. 10/10 would recommend this property and its team.
