Mountain Meadows Bed & Breakfast

Listen y'all. I NEVER leave reviews, but my partner and I had such a restorative time here, I feel compelled. Here's the deal: this is an incredibly special old school bed and breakfast run by the wonderful Maria and Joe. From the jump we felt so welcomed and taken care of - the house is lovely, situated with an incredible view of Mohonk and only a few minutes' drive from downtown New Paltz. The rooms are comfy, cozy, and well-appointed with everything you need to relax. We visited during the snowy season, but we can't wait to return to take advantage of the pool and hot tub. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention Maria's exceptionally delicious & cozy home cooking AND baking... and she is one hell of a storyteller to boot! A complete delight. My husband, dog, and I stayed here for a couple days last month, and we had a blast! Maria, the owner, was so kind and welcoming to us, and even had a tray of fresh baked cookies waiting when we arrived. Our room was very spacious and comfy, and our dog felt right at home. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool was refreshing on a hot day. It was only a 7 min drive to town, which made it easy to get to dinner/shops. Delicious daily, homemade breakfast was a nice touch! Would love to return in the future!

We found this hidden gem for our first wedding anniversary in 2016 and have been coming back ever since (now with two kids). Each time it gets better and better. Maria and Joe are divinely chill — think of your favorite cool Aunt and Uncle. The accommodations are exquisitely comfy and chic and Maria’s breakfasts are to kill for (no joke — try to get in between me and my plate at your own risk 😏)... on a scale of 1 to 5, Mountain Meadows is at least a 7.5…
