The Leeway

This place is a gem! You can tell that the main motel building has been here from way back, but the rooms are updated with modern comforts while preserving that cozy, camp feel. High quality furnishings. Simple rooms that have everything you need and nothing that you don’t. Excellent location for us: we were bagging our last 4 fire towers in the off-season. Very accommodating service as well. Fantastic!

This place is adorable! I was visiting family in the area and this was perfect! I stayed in what they called a “Standard Room”. It was an adorable little apartment with a living room, bed room, and bathroom. It had a fridge stocked with nice waters and it had coffee options. The grounds are lovely with great landscaping. It would be a great place for a family reunion or even a rustic wedding. It has a beautiful forest area opening to the river with Aderondak chairs, hammocks, and a big fire pit. A sweet, hidden gem!

The Leeway is a lovely spot for a nature filled getaway. My husband and I stayed here for his 40th birthday and The Leeway did not disappoint. The included coffee, kitchenette, and amazing shower made better than expected. We started a fire in the pit by the creek and hung out there for hours one afternoon. The local is great and the restaurant recommendations are on point. I highly recommend The Leeway for couples and even families with kids that would enjoy playing in the creek and making s'mores.
