Really beautiful weekend away. The domes are really high quality and comfortable. The porch was gorgeous with comfort and views. I think there are some improvements though that can take this place to the next level. We didn’t have control over the temperature in the room which was annoying. The host was happy to make adjustments for us but it was a nuisance to have to ask permission to adjust the room temperature so we just left it. Also I wouldn’t say it’s the most dog friendly of all the glamping places I’ve stayed. The paths to get to each dome were semi-plowed but beyond that there wasn’t much maintenance to the paths. We like to walk a lot and we were prepared to walk snow but there wasn’t much clarity on where “paths” would be. We managed to get down to the lake but the snow there was to my knee so couldn’t walk there too much. Also our fire pit was fully snowed in. Again I’m sure the host would have dug it out of we asked but those little touches of anticipating the guests needs help take it to the next level. As the place grows it would be awesome to have a community lodge area with maybe a bar or coffee shop or something as well. I’m sure in the summer the place is amazing but for winter stays, I would suggest this for someone who wants to stay in their room more so than be outside.

My husband and I spent a cozy weekend in the Windsor dome and it did not disappoint. We loved the privacy of the location with the deck overlooking the trees and the lake. The fireplace was a game-changer on a chilly rainy night, and the bed was also comfy. We loved the decor and the little touches in the room that made it more homey (like the robes, slippers and the JBL speaker that we used everyday). The wifi was also very fast. We cooked all weekend and had no problems with the utensils/cooking ware provided or the ventilation. Rigo was super helpful too. Would def return during the summer for campfire night and to swim in the lake.

One of the best staycations by far :) We were supposed to stay here last January, but due to a snowstorm, the Domes staff prioritized their guests' safety and rebooked us for another date. Upon arrival, Rigo (Domes staff) has helped us with our luggage and inquiries both via text and in person. The staycation was great! A much-needed break from the busy life in the city. A peaceful and safe place to unwind and relax. The location of Domes is near the city and a few hours drive. Definitely, we will be back again soon! Thank you Domes and Rigo for this memorable staycation! :)
